The Volunteers

Koinonia’s education program doesn’t stop with the kids! We thoroughly train all of our volunteers in all aspects of camp leadership including Child Protection, prior to their involvement in our holiday camp program. Volunteers are also equipped to deal with children from different backgrounds through their training. Our volunteers are very committed people who give up a week of their holidays to come and make a difference in the lives of these children and young people. They are all thoroughly screened and trained prior to their involvement. Many of them are school teachers or university students studying psychology and teaching.
