Canoeing

Canoeing involves a short walk to the Evans River where participants are briefed on the equipment used and are taught basic canoeing techniques and strokes. Participants are assisted to put on a PFD before entering the river. Participants must work together to successfully steer their canoes. Games can be played to add a different dimension to the activity. Participants may get wet. At the conclusion of the session participants are debriefed on communication and co-operation.
